I'm Fallon, a professional qualified freelance Photographer and Retoucher in Hertfordshire, England. With 15+ years of experience. I graduated in 2008 with my BA HONS Digital and Lens Media Degree and shortly after, began my freelance career. I have photographed various sessions over the years including fashion, portraits, products, events and corporate images, as well as babies, toddlers and families of course!
During my previous employments, I have worked as the Head Photographer within a popular Family Portrait Studio, and am also an experienced retoucher from my employment within a leading UK Fashion Studio.
Since having my daughter in 2018, I have reignited my passion for baby and children photography, as well as family photo shoots, I love nothing more than creating beautiful memories for others of the most important moments in their lives.

It is also a priority to me that my photography is suitable for all kinds of budgets - I firmly believe everyone should be able to have the opportunity of professional images of their family. Becoming a parent made me appreciate professional photos of babies even more, capturing every detail as they don't stay that little for very long!
I am extremely experienced working with children, with past employment and work experience within schools, and aim to make my sessions as fun and interactive as possible, from newborns to any age! My style of photography is relaxed, fun and modern - I don't like overly posed or tightly wrapped babies!

How old should my baby be for a newborn session?
I would always say make sure you are comfortable yourself before taking part in a photo shoot, having a baby is a big thing! But generally between 7 and 14 days old
Your cake smash shoots look
like fun!
They are SO much fun! I love these shoots and they aren't actually as messy as you'd think (well sometimes!) You provide the outfit and cake and I do the rest - they're fantastic for a first birthday celebration!
Do you offer location shoots as well as studio?
Of course! I have a number of recommended locations around Hertfordshire, depending on the time of year and different settings for your session
What happens if it is bad
weather for our location shoot?
I always scrutinise the weather forecast the week before the shoot, but if it is bad on the morning of the session, I can reschedule - no one likes the soggy, wet look in images!
How long is a session?
Depending on which package you've selected and what age your child is, a shoot usually lasts between 30 to 60 minutes, but rest assured, I will keep shooting until we have a beautiful selection of images.
Do you shoot different themes?
Absolutely! I love themed shoots, especially Halloween, Easter and Christmas! Get in touch for further details of themes
My baby isn't happy on shoot day, what do I do?
I always try to ensure we make the booking on a suitable day, at a time when baby won't be too hungry or tired, but as we know, they like to surprise us! If there is a problem on the day, please contact me ASAP and we can chat, but please don't worry
Do you offer advice before the day eg. what clothing to wear, what to bring?
Definitely! Once your session is booked, I send you my welcome guide, which has advice on outfits to wear, favourite toys to bring and much more! If you have any other questions, please do ask!
Where is your studio?
My studio is in St Albans, Hertfordshire, very near to the M25, so easy access to Potters Bar, Hatfield, Harpenden, Welwyn, Watford, Hemel Hempstead and more! It is set up with paper backdrops, studio flash lighting and various props to use for your session
Do you only photograph babies?
Not at all! I've photographed people of every age, from babies to Nans! I love capturing extended families and older children too

Fallon is amazing at what she does, we got lots of beautiful photos of my boys and my niece at our last session. We were made at ease straight away and captured some beautiful photos of the children.I have recommended her work to all of my friends and family.
